Hi all. I'm reviving the blog thingy.
Hmmm, I'll start with a YouTube entry.
The Roaring Boys - House Of Stone
One of my favorite musical obscurities from the 1980's, The Roaring Boys' "House of Stone" finally was YouTubed (is that a verb?) a couple months back. Definite Roxy Music influence. We actually had a copy of this at the college radio station, and as you could guess, I was the only DJ who ever played it and was mocked as a result. Well, I exaggerate. Only one guy mocked me, but that's okay, because I almost ruined his chance to sleep with this airheaded girl. That's a story for another time.
Embedding that YouTube video was so easy, I'm going to add another one I uploaded. I call it "Cats on an unmade bed."

Your choice the Roaring Boys is quite timely, as I'm on a bit of a Roxy Music kick as of late (stuff from their Manifesto/Flesh + Blood period).
Anyway, I quite enjoyed "House of Stone." ...very suave.
"Almost ruined" Hee hee!
Oh, and cute kitty.
That's d.'s kitty. The black and white one in the video is mine.
I heard Avalon on muzak the other day. Hee.
